Red Cariboo Resort –
a new holiday destination in Canada British Columbia

This new holiday destination is built on 60 hectares of wild land right at the Dean River (800m of the river is part of the property and only 300m away from the cabins). It was developed by Axel Opper, a German-Canadian, and has been under construction for several years.

The cabins are built from the wood of this area and have either one or two bedrooms. There is a lodge with a restaurant and stables, all built out of the same local wood, and so they form a natural building ensemble in which one feels completely comfortable. The interiors of the cabins and apartments are very cozy and align with the comfort of a typical outdoor resort.

The property has two rustic barbecue/fire pits that can be used by large and small groups who appreciate an outstanding barbecue. There is a big community kitchen located at the main house. Shopping for groceries is possible at the village in Anahim Lake nearby.

Also, a lounge and reception can be found at the main house, our central point for guests. It is a great place to have a good conversation and to socialize while enjoying a delicious typical Canadian beer or whiskey. Guests can also enjoy playing billiards.

For those who want to discover nature, we offer a rental service for mountain bikes, canoes, boats, horses, snowshoes, and camping and fishing gear.
It is also possible to arrange guided tours for groups and families. We will set up a personal program according to your wishes.
