The cabins at the Red Cariboo Resort -
a new holiday destination in Canada BC.
For your eventful and unique holiday stay at the Red Cariboo Resort, we offer you two types of comfortably furnished cabins in maisonette style.

The cabins are built from local woods and are free-standing with privacy on the site. With large windows that catch a lot of light and create a wonderful ambiance, they offer a wonderful view directly into the Dean River.
All cabins have their own small open space with a bench that invites you to linger and relax. Each cabin is equipped with a small refrigerator and microwave. Our Community Kitchen offers more options for self-sufficiency.
Our owner is a passionate hunter. In each cabin, there is a trophy from Axel who gives the cabin its name. Therefore you will find the Cinnamon Bear Cabin, the Black Bear Cabin (in the photos!), the Cougar Cabin, the Wolf Cabin, the Lynx Cabin, and of course the Brown Bear Cabin in our resort.

Big Cabins
Size approx. 75 sqm
On the lower level is a small hallway, a small utility corner with a fridge and microwave, and an airy lounge with a large table that offers an unobstructed view of the Dean River below. There is also a bedroom with a king-size bed, a bathroom with a shower and a separate toilet downstairs. On the upper floor, which can be reached via a standard staircase, the large cabin offers a cozy living area with a pull-out sofa (queen-size bed for two people), a large flat-screen TV, and another bedroom with a king-size bed.

Small Cabins
Size approx. 34 sqm
The lower level boasts a comfortable living area, complete with a plush sofa and a large flat-screen TV. You'll also find a convenient fridge and microwave, as well as a bathroom with a shower, all designed to make you feel right at home.
There are two queen beds in the sleeping area, which is on the upper level.
PLEASE NOTE: The upper level can only be reached via a ladder or very steep stairs. These cabins are not suitable for children under ten years of age or adults who are no longer physically able to climb a steep ladder.

The following services apply to all cabins:
Laundry
A coin-operated washing machine and a coin dryer are available in the Community Kitchen for your personal laundry.
Bed sheets and towels
Bed linen and towels are provided. We change bed linen once a week and towel twice a week.
Internet/Wi-Fi
Our wireless network, through a satellite connection, gives you internet access. (Due to our location, the bandwidth is limited, so video Skype, video streaming, or massive file downloads are not possible.)
We offer a free 3 GB voucher per person at check-in. If you require more data, vouchers with more data are available for purchase.
TV
We offer free TV with a wide range of channels and movies to choose from.
During construction time, TV is not available yet.
Cell phones
A mobile network is not available in the Canadian wilderness.
Community Kitchen
The community, a separate building, is available to all guests of the cabins who want to cater for themselves, cook and bake or organize sociable cooking events.
This is equipped with 4 gas hobs and 2 gas ovens, 2 dishwashers, 2 microwaves, coffee machines, 5 large fridge-freezers, 3 sinks, numerous cupboards with kitchen equipment such as pots, pans, and dishes, and cupboards with storage space. The refrigerators and freezers, as well as the cabinets with storage space, are available to you separately for the cabins for storing the food.
The Community Kitchen has numerous tables and seating inside and a large terrace with a wood pellet grill for cozy get-togethers in the fresh air.
Cleaning fee
All stays under 3 nights are subject to a CAD 60 pl. tax end clean-up fee. So that you know, additional fees may apply if you do not make a direct booking at Red Cariboo Resort & Apartments but on an online booking portal.
